Vision Statement

THE 2025-2029 VISION FOR THE PENNSYLVANIA BAPTIST STATE CONVENTION

1. Economic Empowerment for Our Churches
Our goal is to strengthen every church within the PA Baptist State Convention by providing tools for financial resilience. Through workshops on financial literacy, budgeting, stewardship, and sustainable programming, we will equip congregations with the knowledge and resources needed to achieve stability and independence. Financially empowered churches will be able to serve their members and communities more effectively, even in difficult times.

2. Grant Writing and Fundraising Initiatives
We will establish a dedicated grant-writing team tasked with identifying funding opportunities and crafting proposals aligned with our mission. in addition, we will promote a culture of giving and innovation by offering training on creative fundraising methods, empowering local congregations to host impactful community driven events. By pooling resources and hamessing community generosity, we will expand the reach of our ministries and strengthen our collective witness.

3. Strengthening Unity Within the Convention
Recognizing the challenges of division and disconnection, we will host a series of regional gatherings that encourage dialogue, collaboration, and fellowship among our churches. These gatherings will include spiritual retreats, workshops, and worship experiences that foster reconciliation, build trust, and renew shared purpose. Through intentional relationship-building, we will rekindle our collective passion for serving God together as one body.

4. Creating Lifeline Programs
Inspired by Ezekiel's vision where God breathed life into dry bones, we will implement 'Lifeline Programs' to support and revitalize struggling congregations. These programs will provide mentorship from thriving churches, shared resources, and collaborative outreach projects. Just as God restored life in Ezekiel's valley, we will stand as a convention committed to breathing renewal and vitality into every church that needs encouragement and support.

5. Building a Platform for Innovation
We will embrace technology as a tool to engage younger generations and reach those who may feel disconnected. By creating an online platform for sharing best practices, resources, and testimonies, we will enhance communication across our convention. Virtual gatherings will complement traditional meetings, increasing accessibility, participation, and inclusivity. Innovation will serve as a bridge, uniting the diverse body of Christ across regions.

6. A Spirit of Prayer and Discernment
At the heart of our vision is prayer. We will cultivate a convention-wide commitment to consistent prayer gatherings, seeking God's wisdom and direction. Together, we will lean into a spirit of discernment, hope, and revival, trusting God to breathe fresh life into our churches. Like Ezekiel's prophetic vision, prayer will be the foundation that transforms despair into renewed faith and vibrant ministry.

Together, let us pray. work, and watch as God breathes new life into our convention!
